Wednesday is the most mystical day for a week. For me , it can be a happy day or not so happy day because it's the mid of a week. Today is a wednesday and i think i am not so happy. Y?
As the title mentioned, i don't want to do it again...
Everytime , i notice that my lack of confidence always give other people the wrong preception about me. Although i would like to be a proffesional PR & Com but if i cannot handle my own problem, i don't even know how i can be a proffesional in this field. I know and i feel myself strugger hard. I wanna give all the best i can but things always turn out to be the negative way.
As today, i am helping my customer serive team to pick up some phone calls due to the shortage of staff as two are on leave and the other one is on MC. As "lucky" as i usually be, i get a call from a lady who claimed herself as 'Madam B and she was returning a call to who ever had called her using our company phone".
Well, this is an usual case in our company as customer service dept. always call customer and give them a reminder about their coming appointments for piano tuning. Without any analisis thinking, i informed the lady that this was a CM Pte Ltd company. The lady sound annoyed and replied that she know because she is the worker in this company. My thinking at the point of time was "Alright, i thought you are one of the customer. I don't even know there was a person name Mdm B in our company. Most probably i was still new. Well, she might be from other branches."
Since she notified me that she was the company worker and she also told me a few names of the comman people who will looked for her, i assured Madam B that i would pass the message around and get the person to return her called. Before i hang up the phone, i tried to get more information about her and ask a question " Madam B, which branch are you calling from?". She stoped and laughed for 30 second before replied my question " Just passed around that Madam B call and asked the person to call me.". That's it. I hang up the phone and feel frustrated because of her arrogant. I believe you will feel the same way, right?
As i passed the message to one of my colleague" Ms D", she was shocked and told me that Madam D was the wife of our company boss. Opss... Now i understand Y she's arrogant and Y she laughed at my question. You see, that's the lesson i got today. Do not made your own assumption and always be alert to your surroundings.
That's my story for today.
